We just got back from a week in Ocean City with Mom-Mom & Granddad Kulp. Anna is a total beach babe -- she loves the sand and the ocean! Highlight of the week? Anna getting to spend some quality time with her second cousin, Eowyn. Anna was being a ham, as usual, while Eowyn seemed to be contemplating Calvin's thoughts on free will and calculating how many days until she can run for political office and get crackin' on that pesky world peace issue. Eowyn was seriously distressed by Anna's obvious lack of concern for such things. The pictures tell the story:

Tuckered Out

Labor Day Weekend

Peter, Mom H, Dad H, Timmy, Ben, Aunt Dianne, Uncle Gene, and Grandmom came to visit for the weekend. Labor Day traffic between Phila and Providence was rough, but we think they're still glad they came to visit... at least we hope so! Anna was a good little girl. She fell asleep in her stroller at the noisy Union Brewhouse on Saturday night and stayed alseep as we bounced her around on the cobblestone walkway at Waterfire! We love this baby!

Already Glued To The TV

Much to my dismay, Anna has taken to watching SportsCenter with Dad every morning before she sends him off to work. I can't believe she's already mesmerized by the television. Sigh

A Good Reason To Blog

Anna is 13 weeks old already. Hard to believe. There are moments when I wish I could go back to the delivery room and hear her little cry for the first time again, but watching her grow and change each week makes the passage of time exciting. I hope I always feel that way. Fortunately, I have the privilege of staying home with her, so I get to see every new face, hear every new coo, and savor each increasingly enthusiastic smile. Short of watching her all night while she sleeps, I don't think I could possibly squeeze any more enjoyment out of this little person!
