Yesterday, the neighborhood ladies got treated to eight hours of Josh, the shirtless wonder, as he labored away on the addition. He's pretty sure he got checked out 17 times. I figure if that's what he needs to believe in order to stay motivated, I won't burst his bubble. So here are the pictures of the progress Josh made. Pretty impressive for a guy working alone (although, against my better judgement, I did help him hoist those windows into place... I'm guessing that ranks up there with drinking a whole bottle of wine in terms of pregnancy risk factors). I also included a couple photos of Daddy & Anna at the bottom. You've got to love a guy who works 8-5 M-F in an office, works on the house all weekend, and still finds time before and after work to actively entertain a two year old. For the record, the construction paper princess crown & earrings pictured below were both conceptualized and executed by Josh himself (you can click to enlarge those little photos, by the way).

Love the crown and earrings. I also love the way she's holding his arm in the picture just before that. The addition looks great! When I was pregnant with Blake, I tried to find a medical excuse to stop carrying 35-lb. Alex around all the time in the midst of his mommy phase (and sometimes Jack at the same time). I asked my doctor and she said while it wasn't great for my back that it wasn't a risk to the baby. So, I think you're safe.
So, I guess my cover was blown...I dressed as one of your "lady neighbors" to get the Chip N Dale-style show from Josh. Stink. I have to work on better costuming.
Josh you are amazing!! You are the Renessance Man(I'm math I can't spell). I'm proud of you. Great addition. By the way, Laura you're making a Great addition too. I'm excited to see that little one in January.
Very impressed, Josh. You number one dad you.
Hi Laura! Josh spooked me with a text out of the blue yesterday. Congrats on the next addition! That's great! I just love your blog and all the pictures of Anna. She's totally adorable. I'm hoping I can get up there for a visit this fall. Josh says I'm to bring Sammy. Ha!
