Just when I thought I had the back room childproofed, Anna learned how to climb up the lone stair... and has no idea how to get back down once she's up. Watching her struggle is painful, but Josh keeps encouraging me to let her go so she'll learn. This has resulted in several falls (some flat on her face) over the past few days. Stuck
Just when I thought I had the back room childproofed, Anna learned how to climb up the lone stair... and has no idea how to get back down once she's up. Watching her struggle is painful, but Josh keeps encouraging me to let her go so she'll learn. This has resulted in several falls (some flat on her face) over the past few days. Sigh.

I love how complicated things are to a 1-year old (or almost). I wish my life was that simple. Her face is so funny in that video - she just can't figure out what to do. By the way, is Anna wearing capris? If so, it's only making me jealous that I'm having yet another boy. Very cute.
Okay- Let's just focus on the amazing feat of climbing the stairs, as Eowyn has not even braved a single step yet. Anna is clearly going to be the intrepid, adventurer (while still elegant and graceful!)
I wouldn't sweat just one step...in a couple years (maybe months) Josh will have her jumping off the roof.
